Description

In 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) created more individual control over and transparency around companies’ use of personal data. Now, other jurisdictions are playing catch-up. The recently passed California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) takes cues from GDPR and will result in additional compliance modifications. Partners Scott Galt and Jeff Schultz will compare and contrast GDPR and CCPA obligations, and offer compliance solutions for addressing them both.
