Event description

Description

The privacy of nonprofit donors is once again at risk, as cities and states across the country enact laws requiring charities to turn over their donor lists any time those groups speak about important public issues.

This social/educational event will discuss efforts to protect the First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and freedom of association of local charities and their supporters. Our program will include networking, personal stories, and a discussion on current events relating to this issue.

Join us for a discussion on free speech under assault and efforts to protect donor privacy!

Timeline:

5:30- General Reception

6:00- Panel Discussion

Speakers will include:

David French, National Review Senior Writer.

Matt Miller, Senior Attorney at the Goldwater Institute
