Description

Topic: Reproductive Life Planning: a tool to guide men and women towards their family planning goals.

The United States of America has the highest rate of unplanned pregnancy in the developed world, and this contributes to the fact that our country also has one of the highest rates of both maternal and infant mortality and morbidity. In this training, we will discuss the fine points of Reproductive Life Planning and explore ways to utilize the concept in counseling women and men of reproductive age.


  • 8:00-8:30 Registration

  • 9:45-10:05 Break
  • 10:05-11:45 Content/discussion
  • 11:45-12:30 Lunch
  • 12:30-1:45 Content/discussion/practice
  • 1:45-2:00 Evaluation, etc.


Kent County Health Department is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Requirements for participation are attendance at the entire session and completion of an evaluation form.

Certificates for 4.6 nursing contact hours will be presented at the conclusion of the program. You must attend the entire session and complete an evaluation form to receive the contact hours.
