About this event
The federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Ombudsman's office, the Office of Government Information Services (OGIS), will host its annual public meeting in accordance with the FOIA statute. Our theme for this year's virtual meeting is "Change and Resilience amid COVID-19." You will also hear about OGIS’s recommendations to Congress and the President and will have the opportunity to present oral or written statements.

MEETING MATERIALS: Will be available at: https://www.archives.gov/ogis/outreach-events/annual-open-meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: The public is invited to present oral or written statements at the meeting in accordance with 5 U.S.C.§(h)(6). If you would like to submit written comments or questions for OGIS to consider, please email them to ogisopenmeeting@nara.gov. Please note that we will not answer questions about specific OGIS cases.

Attend the meeting virtually through Webex. Those attending the meeting via Webex will need to connect to the audio portion of the meeting by telephone.Please note that only those attending via Webex will be able to present oral statements.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO ATTEND VIA WEBEX:
There is a two-step registration process to virtually attend this meeting.
(1) You must register by 11:59 PM (EDT) on Monday, May 10.
(2) The week of the meeting, registrants will receive a message from OGIS that provides information on how to join the meeting online and connect to the audio by calling in using your telephone.
QUESTIONS ABOUT REGISTRATION: If you have difficulty registering for this event via Eventbrite, try the following:
- Clear your cache and cookies.
- Try a different web browser.
- Contact your IT department to see whether there is anything the department can do on their end to assist you. Some agencies may have network security restrictions in place which may impact your ability to register.
