Annual Membership Chili Supper (aka the Barn Party)
Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
Join us at the Rathers' barn at Malcom's Crossroads (intersection of Sandy Creek Road and Fairplay Road in Morgan County, GA) for the Madison-Morgan Conservancy's Annual Membership Chili Supper. Special Guest Kay Lee from the Center for Community Preservation and Planning will talk about what Newton County is doing right and for the good of Morgan County's "front porch."
Homemade chili; potatoes, salad, and dessert from the Caboose in Rutledge; Sweetwater beer and decent wine await you. Join us for a casual, fun evening to celebrate the members of the Madison-Morgan Conservancy who make all our work possible.
When & Where
Georgia's first county-wide conservancy is creating a culture of conservation! With a holistic approach to conservation, the Conservancy has helped permanently protect over 1,750 acres through donated conservation easements, provided excellent educational programming, and helped retain the quality of life here in beautiful Morgan County by supporting balanced growth and protection of our critical natural, agricultural, and historic resources. Come FARMeander through Morgan County with us to experience the bounty of Morgan County - local meats, veggies, eggs, nuts, and fruit tantilizing your tastebuds.
