Annual Awards Celebration
About this event
The Frederick County Human Relations Commission (HRC) is requesting your support for our signature event, where we recognize individuals, local organizations, and businesses for their contributions to human relations, civil rights, or multicultural awareness. Our featured speaker is Eric Verdi, Co-Founder, ImpactClub® Frederick. This year’s event will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
There is no cost to attend. However, seating is limited, so you must register to claim your virtual seat.
We look forward to continuing the tradition of awarding one youth from each Frederick County public high school with the Henry L. Templeton Student Excellence Award. We will also recognize the winners of the Theodore Stephens Lifetime Achievement Award, the Lord D. Nickens Community Service Award, the Human Relations Award, and the Claire S. Knight Youth Achievement Award.
Note: we will add all registrants to our listserv powered through Mailchimp. Approximately 24 hours before the event, please check your inbox for an email with the conferencing access link from Eventbrite. The access info will also be emailed through MailChimp at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. You can unsubscribe from our listserv at any time after the event by clicking the link at the bottom of every email.
