Annual Heartbeat Testimonial Dinner - A Night at the Hop

This event provides critical funding each year amounting to nearly 10% of Hearts for Homes' overall budget. The goal for this year's 1950s-themed "Night at the Hop" is to raise $50,000 with your help.

Our work to improve living conditions for low-income senior homeowners in Denton County continues to fulfill a critical need for our elderly neighbors facing difficult challenges in affording the cost of maintaining their homes on meager fixed incomes as they age in place. Because of you, our seniors stay warm in the winter, cool in the summer, have a solid roof over their heads, functioning plumbing, and safer bathrooms. These are just a few of the things H4H assists its clients with throughout the year. Once a senior is accepted as a client, they remain in our service until they no longer reside in that home.

As our sweet client, Eva, age 71, shared: "They H4H) have been such a blessing to me in times when I didn't have money to make (repairs.) Thank you so much for caring for we senior citizens. When you get old, sometimes you feel like you are no use. Thank you again. Having Hearts for Homes is like having a guardian angel, every year, all the time."

This event showcases the work done throughout the past year while also sharing the stories and struggles of some of our 86 homeowners, like Eva. We hope to inspire you to get involved in this wonderful, impactful ministry. Afterall, it takes a village to care for our elderly. Thank you for being one of the guardian angels Eva mentioned in offering your generosity, care and support for our ongoing mission.
