Event description

Description

Presented by the Museum of Boulder and the Native American Rights Fund

The cultures of Native Americans in the United States and indigenous peoples around the world are vitally expressive and deeply tied to the natural landscape, as well as vulnerable to ongoing exploitation by others. Join us for a series of powerful presentations and interactive discussions about issues in cultural appropriation, representation, and revitalization.

Join us for a closing panel discussion “The Way Forward: Self-Determination in Cultural Expression and Representation” with Filmmaker Ava Hamilton (Arapaho) and CU professor Dr. Angelica Lawson (N. Arapaho).

Please reserve a free ticket as space is limited.
