Annual Fundraiser for the Prevention of HIV Among Teens and Young Adults
BootScrap is an organization Which targets the needs of TEENS (Ages 13-19) in the prevention and resources needed to Prevent HIV. These teens are high school drop-outs who have little or no formal education, are Juvenile Delinquents, and homeless.
Our Goal is to help them secure their GED Diploma and provide resources for HIV Preventions. These include PEP Sessions and Classes about 1) practicing safe sex and the use of condoms, 2 ) Getting Tested for the HIV Virus, 3) When to start HIV Medications, and 4) The facts about PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis and how to start.
