Description

Overview

Join us for our Annual Conference as we explore how to make Williamson County a resilient community! There will be many exciting announcements at this event! A special 10 year anniversary presentation will take place at the event to celebrate the history and accomplishments of the WilCo Wellness Alliance. Additionally, the Top 5 Health Priorities, identified by the 2019 Community Health Assessment (CHA), will be revealed at this event! The previous 2018 Conference on Health Equity served as the CHA kickoff last year and this conference will serve as the completion of the CHA. Most importantly, we will take a deep dive into learning more about the importance of building community resilience. Numerous research studies suggest that building community resilience not only improves mental health in a community, but it also buffers the community from public health issues such as chronic diseases, drug abuse, obesity, and more. What role will community resilience play in the coming years?? Find out on April 24th!
