Following her standing-room only appearance in Bedford last April, author and memoirist Anne Lamott returns to First Parish in Bedford on Thursday, November 7 at 7pm.
Admission of $25 to this event includes a copy of Anne's latest book, Stitches: A Handbook on Meaning, Hope and Repair, an $18 value. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Amirah House, a Boston Area safe house dedicated to providing effective, whole-person aftercare for survivors of commercial exploitation.
Please note: sanctuary seating for Ms. Lamott's lecture is first-come-first-serve; there is space for approximately 350 attendees in the pews and overlooking balcony. Overflow from the sanctuary will be accommodated elsewhere in the building to view a video simulcast. Following the lecture there will be a reception where attendees will have the opportunity to meet Ms. Lamott and get their books signed.

Doors will open at There are two entrances: the side entrance on Elm Street and from the Town Common at the front of the meetinghouse on Great Road. The meetinghouse is fully accessible; elevator entry is on the Elm Street side.
Parking: There is limited on-street parking, plus additional parking in the Bedford Town Center lot.
Restaurants within walking distance of First Parish in Bedford include Dalya's, Ginger Japanese, Ka- Thai, b.good, and Cafe Luigi. In addition, the nearby Whole Foods has a self-serve food bar.
