Event description

Description

“Their harmonies are warm, tight and soulful; and their performances simple, poignant and unforgettable.”
Nashville Public Radio

Anne and Pete Sibley will play in the Events Barn at Knoll For for a special benefit concert for the Better Selves Fellowships.

In 2009, Anne and Pete Sibley won a national duo contest hosted by Prairie Home Companion for their exquisite harmonies, and they have only gotten better in the last 10 years. They’ve performed live at NYC’s Town Hall, Washington’s DC’s Kennedy Center and on festival stages from North Carolina’s Merlefest to Colorado’s Rockygrass. With banjo, guitar and fiddle and exquisite vocals, they perform rich traditional melodies as well as original folk and bluegrass tunes. We are thrilled to have them back to perform for our community, all the way from California.

Come as early as 5:30 for refreshments and to enjoy the beautiful farm venue for this concert, which will be held in a historic timber frame barn with incredible mountain views. Music starts at 7:00 pm.

This Benefit Concert is an annual fundraiser celebrating the mission of Knoll Farm and raising money for the Better Selves Fellowships. Our goal this year is to raise money to provide a week-long retreat for 60 individuals working in the fields of social justice, human well being and conservation. Heroes tickets are for those who want to support this effort as a higher level, and we thank you so much in advance!
