Event description

Description

Kepler's Literary Foundation is proud to introduce the Bay Area literary world's newest star: Anna Yen, author of Sophia of Silicon Valley. Yen's vibrant, witty, and electrifying prose bursts with all the makings of a bestseller. Based on her experiences working for Silicon Valley's top maestros, this exciting debut, exudes the frenetic, 'move fast and break things' essence of the real life day-to-day for the Valley's most ambitious while balancing a delightful avidity for finding the moments of subtle humor and self-effacing candor that only someone who has lived a life among the Valley's ultra-determined can portray.

Documentary filmmaker, Michael Whalen moderates an exclusive conversation between Yen and director of Crazy Rich Asians (the movie adaptation of the bestselling book which is due to release August 17, 2018) Jon M. Chu on the cut-throat and furiously inventive cultures of the technology and entertainment industries.
