THESE PEACHES: Singer songwriter Rich Klevgard crafts original songs of love lost, love found and the journey in between. Almost Heard the Ocean, the Debut album from These Peaches features a stellar cast of musicians from both Chicago and Austin via Lubbock, Texas. All original songs leave a strong impression of experience, love lost, love regained and innocence.
ANNA FERMIN'S TRIGGER GOSPEL: Named after an old Western novel, anna fermin’s trigger gospel reflects a spirited sound that intertwines hometown country and rock & roll with “a strong melodic-pop appeal.” (Holly Rushakoff, The Octopus)
Formed in 1997, anna fermin’s trigger gospel has garnered the attention and respect of critics and music fans alike, hooking audiences with their eclectic songs and rousing live shows. In the years this Chicago-based band has been together, they’ve shared the stage with an impressive roster of musicians including Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Joe Ely, Robbie Fulks, Delbert McClinton, Neko Case and many more.
The eclectic influences of her bandmates, who include Paul Bivans on drums & percussion, Michael Krayniak on bass, Grant Tye on guitars and Alton Smith on keyboard, have become the perfect compliment to Fermin’s stunning originals, "that smartly place her voice where it belongs - front and center.” (Monica Eng/Chicago Tribune)
BRAD PETERSON: Autodidact and inventor, Brad Peterson, exemplifies the ethos of the independent-intrepid musician. At age six, he was experimenting with recording his original songs -as soon as he figured out how to work a cassette recorder. Through the decades he evolved through a series of stylistic shifts with his powerful and emotive voice ever-present. As the songs became refined, he played in expanding spheres of influence. Stages and audiences grew and Peterson eventually rubbed elbows with some of the greats: Brian Wilson, Bono, Sufjan Stevens, Edie Brickell, David Lowery, Elton John, Jeff Buckley, and others.
