Welcome to the Anime Expo 2018 Registration!

Anime Expo, also known as "AX", is the largest Japanese popular culture event in North America, and will be held at the Los Angeles convention center July 5 - 8, 2018. For the latest information about the Anime Expo, please visit our website at: Anime-Expo.org

 Registration Policies 

Refund & Transfer Policy 

Refund requests for Anime Expo 2018 badges must be received within 30 days of the purchase date. All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee for the entire order. After 30 days, transfers to other parties (name change) will permitted and must be requested by March 31, 2018.

Badges purchased after March 31, 2018 are non-refundable and non-transferrable to others.

All badges are non-transferable to the following year.

SPJA reserves the right to change the Refund & Transfer Policy at any time without notification. Anime Expo reserves the right to refuse admission, to refuse service and/or to cancel/revoke your badge at Anime Expo’s discretion.

All refund requests must be sent via email with your full name & order confirmation number to registration@anime-expo.org

Upgrade & Downgrade Policy 

Badges can be upgraded any time by sending an email to registration@anime-expo.org before the end of show. Certain restrictions apply.

Badges can be downgraded (i.e. 4-Day badge to 1-Day badge) only if the 4-Day badge follows the Refund & Transfer Policy. If you are ineligible for a refund, you can process a name change on your 4-Day badge before March 31, 2018. You must register for the new badge again.

Age Restriction Policy 

Attendees age 13 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 for the duration of their time at the event. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to pick-up their badge.

Any programming designated 18+ will require attendees to show a valid photo ID in order to gain admittance.

Purchase a pass appropriate for the child's age by the first day of attendance of Anime Expo 2018. 

  • Children ages 0 - 5 are free. They must purchase a child badge. 
  • Children ages 6 - 12 must purchase a child badge for $35. 
  • Children ages 13+ must purchase a 4-Day general attendee badge. Please check the website for most current pricing. 

                              

Lost Badge Policy 

Lost badges are subject to a reprint fee. General badge reprints are $45. Premier Fan badge reprints are $125. Prices are subject to change.

To purchase a badge reprint, head over to the Registration Assistance counter in the South Hall Lobby.


 

Premier Fan Pass  | プレミアファンパス

If you are purchasing more than one Premier Fan pass, please provide a unique email for each Premier Fan registration to receive updates and information for AX 2018.

Premier Fan passes purchased after May 15, 2018 will not be eligible for mailing. These badges must be picked up at the Premier Fan Lounge in West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Sorry! Those who live outside the United States or Canada will not have their badge mailed and must check-in at the Premier Fan Lounge.

What is the refund and transfer policy? How do I request one?

Your refund request must be received within 30 days of your registration purchase date. After 30 days, you may edit or transfer your badge to the following year. Fees may be applied to transfers for the following year (one year only).  Pre-Show Passes are non-transferrable to the following year. 

The deadline for registration edits and transfers is June 1, 2018.   Passes purchased after June 1, 2018 are non-refundable and non-transferable to other individuals or to the following year.

Can I update my registration information or request to transfer my badge to another person?

You may edit your badge by following the instructions at http://bit.ly/1OxHQ3J Edits will not be permitted after June 1, 2018.  Please note the ownership of the badge will remain under the buyer.

Login to your Eventbrite account to access your event confirmation and QR code. For additional help, please email us at registration@anime-expo.org..

What if I lose my badge?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express on the online registration website. During the convention, we accept credit cards listed above and cash. We do not accept check or money orders.


May I come on Day 0 to register onsite or "At-Con", or do I have to use the online web form and pay by credit card?

Onsite or “At-Con” registration is only available starting July 1 at 8:00 am for a premium fee. We suggest purchasing your badge online for a better rate!

 

What forms of ID are accepted?

The photo ID must be current and contain your date of birth (ne expired IDs). We accept the following forms of identification:

  • Driver's license
  • State ID
  • Passports
  • Military ID
  • Any valid government issued photo ID contain your date of birth

 

Do I have to be 18 to pick-up my badge?

All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in order to pick-up a badge. All children 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their time at the event.

What must I bring with me to pick-up my badge?

You must bring a valid phot ID that shows your date of birth. If you pre-registered online, bring a hard copy of your registration confirmation email containing the barcode and/or QR code. You may also use your smartphone to access your registration confirmation via Eventbrite app.

 

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is available at the Los Angeles Convention Center. There are many public parking lots available in the surrounding area. Shuttle service will also be available for participating hotels. Please visit our website for updated information by clicking here.

Founded in 1992, the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to popularizing the unique and deep culture that surrounds of Japanese animation.

The SPJA is passionate about Japanese Animation, manga, and their related interests, and works hard to make our projects reflect that passion. Our goal is to make our projects a place that brings together fans, industry, and all other stakeholders to share, celebrate, promote, and educate Japanese animation, manga, and their related interests.

The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation is a 501(c)(6) registered non-profit mutual benefit trade organization.
