Come hear Annenberg PetSpace Leadership Fellow Clive Wynne, Ph.D. discuss the dynamics of adopting pets. You’ll hear about how animal organizations can use science to help more pets in shelters find forever homes, why a dog from a shelter can make an excellent pet, and what to look for if you are meeting adoptable pets at a shelter or rescue.

ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKER

Clive D. L. Wynne Ph.D., is the author of the books Do Animals Think?, Animal Cognition, and numerous scientific papers. He blogs for Psychology Today, and has written for New Scientist, American Scientist, the New York Times, and other outlets. Wynne is Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University and Director of Research at Wolf Park, Indiana. Educated at University College London and Edinburgh University in Scotland, he has also studied animal behavior at universities in Britain, Germany, Australia, and the USA.
