Angelman Syndrome Collaborative Conference 2023 - Shaping the Future Together, will take place at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

2023 will be the first collaborative conference of the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics Australia and the Angelman Syndrome Association Australia. This year marks the 10th anniversary of International Angelman Day and the 30th anniversary of Angelman Syndrome Association Australia.

The 2023 conference will be an opportunity for the Angelman Community to come together and connect face-to-face, while learning about the latest research, clinical trials, therapies, practical and family support, NDIS, and much more.

The conference will be accessible, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Collaborative Conference

  • Friday and Saturday, 10 -11 February 2023. 8:30am - 5pm
  • Friday - Hosted & by FAST Australia - Towards Therapeutics – Updates on research and clinical trials
  • Saturday - Hosted by Angelman Syndrome Association Australia - Updates on systemic advocacy, education and support
  • 2-day conference ticket $180

There will also be some activities in the hotel and excursions in the community for people with Angelman syndrome and their supports to enjoy. Some activities may attract an additional cost or small out-of-pocket expense and the program will be published closer to the date.

Thanks to Brisbane City Council, Brisbane is set to ‘Light Up’ for Angelman syndrome on Saturday night with notable bridges and monuments lit up in blue - providing the perfect backdrop to the Gala Dinner. This is in honour of International Angelman Day on 15 February.
