Children suffer deeply when they see a mom or dad taken away to prison in handcuffs. There is shame, even though the child did nothing wrong. That's where the Prison Ministry steps in, but we need the help of all of Hopewell. We are looking for fellow church members, districts and other ministries to partner with us to purchase Christmas gifts for 200 Angel Tree kids this year. You can do this in several ways: you can see any usher or Prison Ministry member for special contribution envelopes, or online. Also you can contact Bro Melvin Bethea, Bro Rob Billups or any Prison Ministry member @ email@example.com to volunteer to shop, wrap gifts or deliver gifts. Please be mindful……Gift wrapping and gift delivery will take place on December 12. Thank you Hopewell for your continued support in making Christmas special for our Angel Tree Kids.
When & Where
The contemporary church must change her physical feature. For too long, we have been identified by steeples, suits, bricks and buses. Our new look should resemble a Body that is able to transform the lives of the oppressed, possessed and the depressed through Scripture.
Here at Hopewell, God's Word is preeminent. You will discover that whether one is 2 years of age or 92 years of age, there is something for everyone at Hopewell. We are the church Where the Word is Changing Lives and your needs are met by God's Promises.
