About this Event

Angel Shield, a 501c3 public charity, is hosting a community meeting to educate parents and community members about safety and security options we have now to protect children in schools. Find out how simple security and protection measures can make schools safer. Also learn about state policies that could make our schools safer if school districts approve them.

We are resolved to make schools safer and are looking at all available options. Come find out more and how you can get involved to help ensure the safety of all of our kids!

School Safety Panel includes:

Evan Todd, Columbine Survivor & School Safety Advocate

Laura Carno, Executive Director of FASTER Colorado, an organization that trains armed school staff

Quinn Cunningham, Current Law Enforcement and SWAT Officer

Brad Miller, Attorney familiar with State and local policy

Jana Richardson, Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDR trained.

Moderated by:

Deborah Flora, Syndicated Radio Host & Salem Director of Public Policy

Each member of the panel is experienced, firsthand, with the policy or in helping to further protect our schools and houses of worship. There will be a moderator for the forum and Q&A.

Angel Shield is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to support and provide increased protection and mental health resources in our schools. We are focused on making schools and houses of worship safer through common sense security measures, protective products, and policy changes.
