EVENT DETAILS

The ANCC Accreditation Program will be holding a New Applicant Workshop for organizations interested in applying to become an ANCC Accredited Provider/Approver. The workshop is also intended for NEW Lead Nurse Planners, Nurse Planners, Nurse Peer Review Leaders and/or Nurse Peer Reviewers, Professional Development Associates/CE Specialists, or other CE Department Staff interested in learning more about the ANCC's Accreditation Application Process. The workshop will include an overview of the 2015 Primary Accreditation educational design process, interpretation of criteria, understanding the application and review process, and awarding of accreditation. Participants successfully completing this activity will be awarded 6.75 contact hours.

The ANCC Accreditation Program identifies organizations worldwide that demonstrate excellence in continuing nursing education (CNE). Accredited organizations use evidenced-based ANCC criteria to plan, implement and evaluate the highest quality CNE activities.

Providers are organizations in any country that develop CNE activities using ANCC criteria. 
Approvers are organizations in the US that approve CNE providers for compliance with ANCC criteria. 

Currently-accredited organizations may also participate.

FAQs

Access to the ANA Enterprise Building.

The ANA Main Lobby does not open until 8:00AM EST. Please do not arrive before 8:00AM. After 8:00AM the building will open to the public. Please let the front desk receptionist in the lobby know that you are attending Accreditation Workshops at the ANA Enterprise. Your contact name is: Kendria Jackson or Monica Urso. You will then be allowed to go up in the elevator to the 4th floor where you will be greeted by ANCC staff.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

Self-Parking: Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for $1 per hour.  There are no in-and-out privileges on the same ticket. Hours Requiring Payment: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 7:00pm.  The parking rate is only applied until 7:00pm but the gates will be raised at 9:00pm (2 additional hours) so that customers who parked prior to 7:00pm can still make their payments.
