Hospitality is part of our lives, how we interact with community, both in giving and receiving. We will explore how we can participate in it

About this event

Hospitality is part of our lives, how we interact with community, both in giving and receiving. It is a rich Biblical theme and picture of our final salvation. In all cultures women are deeply implicated in providing hospitality. But it can look very different in different cultures and times (including during COVID). Dr Moyra Dale will explore some of the different dimensions and the common elements of how we practice and participate in hospitality.

Dr Moyra Dale comes from Melbourne, Australia and worked in the Middle East for more than two decades. She has done much hands-on research on women’s everyday lives and how Muslim women live out their faith. She has taught in Bible colleges in the USA, Australia and Asia is a founder, teacher and writer with the When Women Speak network. Her extensively researched book on women in Islam—Islam & Women: Hagar’s Heritage—was published at the end of 2021.
