Description

The physical body is the container for the yoga asana, or posture experience.
Developing a firm foundation in your knowledge of anatomy as a yoga teacher, and practitioner will help you to truly understand then when/why/how of yoga poses.
In this weekend you can expect to learn the basics of the physical body, the muscles, fascia, bones, joints and movement, anatomical language and cuing and appropriate alignment for your individual container.
This training is open and designed for yoga teachers, but also extremely beneficial for yoga students.
This weekend is apart of K!0Yoga's Yoga Alliance Accredited 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training AND is a required core weekend for all 300 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Trainees graduating before December 2019. For more information about these programs visit www.k10yoga.com
Upon completing this course you will:
-Have an understanding of anatomical language and cuing.
-Understand alignment as it pertains to the individual container.
-Have a solid foundation in physical anatomy
-Understand the importance of the physical container in transforming body and mind.
-Using props, sequencing and language, learn how to overcome typical postural and anatomical limitations.
