What is Anamorphisis?

Anamorphosis is an artistic technique that distorts an image so it appears fragmented or stretched, only coming into focus from a specific viewpoint or through a reflective surface. It’s a visual illusion that challenges perception, exposing how perspective shapes what we see.

What does the event represent?

As women, we’re constantly bending over backwards to fit into the image the world has made for us—stretching, performing, and reshaping ourselves until it looks effortless. From a distance, it all appears normal, graceful even, but when you really look, you see the strain. You see the performance.
