Analytics for Good has two goals:
- To teach you best practices for analyzing customer data.
- To help Watsi help more people along the way.
Watsi is an awesome organization that funds health care for people around the world. For this event, experts from companies that partner with Segment will explore user behavioral data from Watsi's website, and see what insights they can find.
Analysts from Chartio, Looker, and Mode will each present what they've learned, and the methods they used to get there. After each presentation, we'll discuss with Watsi how they can use these data insights to improve their product and marketing campaigns.
Networking and demo stations will be live before and after the presentations, so you can learn more about the participating companies if you'd like!

How Watsi Uses Segment
Watsi uses Segment SQL to automatically transform their customer data not only into out-of-the-box tools like Customer.io and Google Analytics, but also into a hosted Amazon Redshift database. Since Watsi is a non-profit and also willing to open up their data to the community, they get Segment for free. :)
