We’re itching to have a party – and very serious about showcasing the xAPI work developed during the xAPI Learning Cohort. We’ve been working with several teams of xAPI enthusiasts for three months and we’ve all got something to share.
We are excited about the projects that teams have been working on in the xAPI Learning Cohort (a swell group of people we’ve been lucky enough to organize and be inspired by as we’ve collaborated weekly for the past 3 months) and we’re anxious to see the most recent iterations in person. In addition to cohort demonstrations, we’ll explore the world of xAPI, instructional design for data, visualizations, LRS, and more.
Here’s our current agenda, though there’s a real possibility it could change before and even during the party as we come up with more to explore.
9:30 -- Open, Intros, What are you doing with xAPI? (of course we'll serve coffee and late morning snacks, but not a full-on breakfast)
10:15 – Side Discussions
- Techside: Activity Providers, the Spec, implementation issues, LRS, Visualizations, Decision Making
- Instructional Designside: Considerations & Competencies (way not tech speak)
- Newbieside: What is xAPI and where should I go to get started?
Noon -- Eat & Informal Conversations (yes, we’ll have herbed fries again)
12:45 – Many, many demos of actual xAPI projects (and their LRS and data) in the real world – got a project to share? Let us know!!!
3:00 -- What we've learned, what comes next … including an intro of the next xAPI Learning Cohort Experience
4:00 -- Close (or Adjourn to Chelsea Alehouse - you pick)
This party will have it all: inquisitive guests, stimulating conversations, and cutting-edge topics. You don’t want to miss it and we don’t want to miss you! IT’S FREE! But please sign up so we know how much lunch to get.
