Description:ELLs in the adult education classroom often face a double challenge: learning English while learning the content. In this workshop, we will discuss how the perspective and tools of translanguaging can transform a student's first language from a liability into a resource. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of what translanguaging is as well as easy and powerful ways to integrate it into existing classroom practices.
