Description

In this three-hour training, participants will gain an introduction to a somatic approach to trauma-informed teaching. The Regulated Classroom was developed by Emily Read Daniels and is enlightened with the principles of The Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing™, Responsive Classroom™, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction™. Participants will learn about Connectors, Activators, Settlers, and Affirmations and how to apply these trauma-informed practices to create a socially-connected and behaviorally-regulated classroom environment.
