About this event
Using prepared table looms, you will be introduced to the basics of table loom weaving. You will be taught basic weave structures and encouraged to experiment with a variety weft yarns in many fibres, textures and colours, in order to take home a collection of technical and creative woven samples. You’ll be amazed and delighted at what you will achieve in this one day workshop. Detailed handouts will be provided.
Suitable for: complete novices with good manual dexterity
Please bring: a notebook and pen, fabric scissors and if desired, your own yarns.
Maximum participants: 4
Tea, coffee and snacks provided throughout the day. Please bring your own packed lunch, or we are next door to the Pottery Cafe where there is a good range of meals to choose from.
