Event Details

Walking meditation is one of the most accessible ways to start a Mindfulness practice, and the tranquility of Mount Auburn is an ideal location for seasonal contemplation. Please join us for a brief introduction to Mindfulness, followed by an opportunity to practice Mindful Walking with Alysia Linsenmayer (LICSW, RYT-300), a clinical social worker and yoga teacher.  About the instructor

Alysia Linsenmayer (LICSW, RYT-300) is a clinical social worker who received her Master’s from the University of California at Berkeley in 2003. Using mindfulness as the basis of all her clinical work, she has attended numerous workshops and trainings, including a week-long immersion at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine at Harvard Medical School. A practitioner of yoga for 20 years, Alysia is a registered yoga teacher with an additional 100-hour training in the use of yoga for mental health. A psychotherapist at Riverside Outpatient in Newton, she also teaches Restorative yoga as well as a monthly Mindfulness workshop at Artemis Yoga in Watertown, MA.
