Event Information
Description
Join us at Photoville, NYC (http://www.photovillenyc.org/) with The Impossible Project (http://the-impossible-project.com/):
This workshop is designed to explore the full potential and versatility of any Polaroid 600 series camera. We will cover in detail all that new The Impossible Project film range has to offer, including shielding techniques, temperature control and identifying and managing each film type's unique characteristics.
About THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT:
The Impossible Project's story began in October 2008 with one concrete aim: To keep the magic of analog instant photography alive by inventing and producing new instant film materials for Vintage Polaroid cameras. The mission was not to re-build Polaroid film but to develop a new product with new characteristics.
About PHOTOVILLE:
Photoville (photovillenyc.org) is a new Brooklyn-based photo destination - a veritable village of freight containers transformed into temporary exhibition spaces, taking place this summer from June 22 to July 1, 2012.
Photoville will feature a feisty mix of exhibitions, lectures, hands-on workshops, nighttime projections, a photo dog run, a camera greenhouse, and a summer beer-garden with food trucks that will create a photography destination like no other.
