An Evening With Tim Ballard & Clay Olsen
On December 10th, 2013 Special Agent Tim Ballard turned in his Homeland Security badge and resigned from his employment with the United States government. He had spent over a decade rescuing children from child sex tourism both domestically and overseas. Though his job was difficult, he was proud that his country was one of very few in the world who was actually doing anything about this problem. However, mired in red tape and bureaucracy, Tim left to begin saving the children that he saw falling out of the purview of the US government. These children constitute over 90% of the estimated 2 million children lost to child sex slavery and he could do nothing to help them while in the employment of the US government. This was the beginning of Operation Underground Railroad.
Since being founded, Operation Underground Railroad has gathered the world's experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts to bring an end to child slavery. O.U.R.'s Underground Jump Team consists of former CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops operatives that lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts. These operations are always in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world.
Once victims are rescued, a comprehensive process involving justice for the perpetrators and recovery and rehabilitation for the survivors begins.
In the past two years of existence, O.U.R. has rescued over 550 victims and assisted in the arrests of more than 245 traffickers around the world.
Please join us for a special, one-night event, featuring O.U.R. founder and CEO, Tim Ballard, along with guest speaker Clay Olsen, CEO and founder of Fight the New Drug.
100% of proceeds from this event will be donated to Operation Underground Railroad.
