We invite you to join us in person on Thursday, December 8th, for an evening of stories and updates about our work in Ethiopia. The event is free and will include refreshments and heavy hors d'oeuvres. 

Every one-time gift made to support our annual event will be matched up to $15,000.00!

In addition to our program for the evening, you will have the opportunity to bid on a curated collection of gifts and handmade items through our Silent Auction.

Abey George

Abraham (Abey) is the owner consultant at Caleb Strategies, an Organizational Health consulting practice that helps businesses and nonprofits build stronger teams and create greater clarity of mission and purpose. For over two decades Abey has travelled to nearly 40 countries as a speaker, mentor and coach, including the last 10 years as the global head of Church partnerships at International Justice Mission, a leading anti-slavery organization in the world.

John McGowan

John McGowan is the Pastor of Restoration City Church (RCC) in Arlington, VA, which he helped plant in 2014. Prior to his time at RCC, he spent a year with The Summit Church in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and ten years working at McLean Bible Church (MBC) as the Pastor of The Gathering (MBC’s college ministry) and the Teaching Pastor of Frontline (MBC’s young adult ministry).

Susan Conway

Susan is the Founder and Executive Director of Three Roots International. She holds a master's degree in International Education and Development, focusing on marginalized communities. She has spent 12 years working in the nonprofit sector at World Vision, World Relief, and International Justice Mission.

Is there a cost to attend?

No! The event is free to all attendees.

Is parking available?

Yes! Plenty of free parking is available at the venue.

May I bring guests?

Yes!  Guests and signifcant others or spouses are welcome. Please RSVP with each guest's name so our team can print accurate name tags.

Will food be provided?

Refreshments and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.

What should I wear?

Casual attire is requested.

Will childcare be provided?

We cannot provide childcare, and the venue does not have dedicated spaces for children, so please make the decision that is best for you.
