Join us for the inaugural reading by award-winning poet Simon Armitage, in celebration of his recent appointment as Professor of Poetry at the University of Leeds.

Professor Armitage will read from works ranging from his first book Zoom to his most recent The Unaccompanied, including sections from his celebrated translation of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. He will also speak about his archive in the University of Leeds' Special Collections, and why so many of his works have connections to the local area.

Doors open at 6pm and seating is not reserved, so please arrive in good time to ensure you get your preferred seat.
