About this event
The long awaited "Evening with Sean of the South" is finally returning to the charming and historic Imogene Theatre in Milton, Fl.
Join us for an evening of storytelling and music with Sean and special guest, The Pensacola Children's Choir, for belly laughs and good ole' Southern hospitality. This show sold out quickly last year, so you'll want to snag your tickets before it's too late!
Storyteller Sean Dietrich will make you laugh, cry, re-live some great memories and entertain you with his wit and wisdom. Sean is a columnist, and novelist, known for his commentary on life in the American South.
His work has appeared in Newsweek, Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Good Grit, The Tallahassee Democrat, South Magazine, the Bitter Southerner, The Birmingham News, The Mobile Press Register, and he has authored eleven books.
He can be described as a mediocre sailor and fisherman, a biscuit connoisseur, and barbecue competition judge. When he’s not writing, he spends much of his time aboard his fourteen-foot fishing boat (The S.S. Squirrel), along with his coonhound, Thelma Lou.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m. The event's proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida.
