An Evening with Robert Dugoni
Event Information
About this Event
We’re so pleased to have Robert Dugoni as our December speaker. Bob was a journalist and attorney before publishing his first novel, The Jury Master, in 2006. Today he is the internationally bestselling author of 18 novels, including the Tracy Crosswhite police series set in Seattle, which has sold more than 6 million books worldwide; the Charles Jenkins espionage series; the David Sloane legal thriller series; the standalone literary novel The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell; and the nonfiction exposé The Cyanide Canary. His novels have been nominated for the Edgar Award, the Thriller Award, the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction, and the Silver Falchion Award. He is a two-time recipient of the Friends of Mystery Spotted Owl Award for best novel set in the Pacific Northwest, and winner of the Nancy Pearl Award for Fiction.
Bob is known for his novel-writing intensive retreats, but MWA-MA has invited him to talk more broadly about building a resilient writing career in a changing industry. Questions submitted in advance are welcome; send them to Clair Lamb: lambletters@gmail.com
