Event description

Description

Don't miss this Library Foundation special ticketed event featuring Piper Kerman, author of best-selling memoir "Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison." Kerman brought her crucible experience to millions of readers in her 2010 memoir; NetFlix brought it to millions more in the critically acclaimed series of the same name. She will share her story at the 7:00 pm presentation (tickets $30.). Due to the mature subject matter, parental discretion is advised. Her book will be available for purchase and signing after the event. Attend a 5:30 pm VIP reception in the Art Museum Community Room to meet Piper Kerman and receive an autographed copy of her book. Drinks and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Tickets to attend both the VIP reception and 7 pm presentation are $75. VIP tickets are limited due to space considerations.

Reasonably priced corporate and individual sponsorships are also available (which include VIP tickets); contact valerier@thelibrary.org for details.

Please check back after March 27, as additional VIP may become available.
