Grey Matters is committed to including everyone in An Evening with Neuroscience. If you have any additional questions or access needs, please reach out to Julia at thalamus@uw.edu with subject line “EWN access.”

The event begins at 6:30 PM with a set of interactive and brain-stimulating pre-panel activities in the Kane foyer, including:

  • Witty rebus puzzles and head-scratching brain teasers
  • Beautiful art pieces from Grey Matters issues along with their featured articles
  • A live brain dissection!

Auditorium doors open at 7:00 PM, where a panel of five speakers will discuss questions and topics you submit on our website.

After an intermission, we begin a full hour of Q&A at 8:00 PM, in which you can speak face-to-face with our panelists.

With attendees aged eight to eighty, all you need to bring are your questions! Join in our discussion as we talk about what's really in your head.
