Generation Forward and Los Angeles Women's Network Presents: An Evening with Mo Welch - How to Die Alone Launch Party

Join us for a hilarious evening with Mo Welch and friends as we celebrate the launch of her book, HOW TO DIE ALONE: The Foolproof Guide to Not Helping Yourself, an irreverent and optimistic look at self-care through the eyes of Blair, an awkward, self-deprecating, totally relatable anti-heroine before it hits the bookshelves.

An out and proud, LA-based stand-up comedian and cartoonist, Mo is a regular contributor to BuzzFeed and Hello Giggles, starred in Hulu’s Coming To Stage, has opened for the likes of Jason Sudeikis, Judd Apatow and Dana Carvey and can be seen every third Thursday at the Virgil running her own live talk show aptly named The Mo Show. She’ll be showcasing her cartoons at our hosted cocktail party, signing advanced copies of her new book and joined by her friends Sarah Silverman, Rachel Bloom, Fortune Feimster and Megan Amram for a raucous lineup and Q&A that shouldn’t be missed.

Sarah Silverman: Silverman was a writer and performer on Saturday Night Live, and starred in and produced The Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central. She released an autobiography The Bedwetter in 2010 and has been nominated for an Emmy and SAG award for her TV and film work.

Rachel Bloom: Bloom is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and comedian. She wrote and plays the lead role of Rebecca Bunch in The CW comedy-drama series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, for which she won a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award.

Fortune Feimster: Known as a performer/writer on “Chelsea Lately,” she has gone on to star in “The Mindy Project” for Hulu and “Champions” for NBC. Fortune has a recurring role as “Dougie” on “Life In Pieces” for CBS and many guest appearances including “Dear White People,” “Two Broke Girls,” “Drunk History,” “Workaholics,” “Claws,” and “Glee” as well as her own half hour specials on Netflix and Comedy Central.

Megan Amram: Amram is an Emmy-nominated American comedy writer and performer currently working on the NBC series The Good Place. She's written for Parks and Rec, The Simpsons, Transparent and many other projects. She's truly hilarious and her twitter account should be printed into a book for future generations to read.
