The fifth annual Evening with Maine Authors will begin with a cocktail hour in the cozy Queen Post barn and screen porch and segue to a sumptuous buffet dinner in the Maine Concert Hall at Stone Mountain Arts Center. After dinner, a former CSC camper will share reflections about their camp experience followed by the evening’s feature presentation of author readings by Richard Russo and his daughter Kate. The evening will conclude with a Q &A moderated by our evening’s host, Caitlin Shetterly.

Richard Russo is the author of Empire Falls (Pulitzer Prize), Nobody’s Fool, Straight Man and many other fiction and non-fiction works, several of which have been made into movies and television specials. Kate Russo’s debut novel, Super Host, was published in February 2021 and made Editors’ Choice in The New York Times Book Review. Kate is also an artist and has collaborated with her father on illustrated works.

Caitlin Shetterly, once a counselor at Camp Susan Curtis, is the author of ModifiedMade for You and Me: Going West, Going Broke, Finding Home, and the bestselling Fault Lines: Stories of Divorce
