An Evening with George Washington, A U.S. Marshals Museum Holiday Event will be held at the beautiful Bonneville House in the historic Belle Grove Historic District, on December 12th from 6:30p to 9:00p. The George Washington from Mount Vernon and The Thomas Jefferson from Colonial Williamsburg will enlighten guests through a lively conversation on their differing opinions of the role of the federal judiciary, including the U.S. Marshals. Carriage rides, 18th century dance lessons, an 18th century inspired menu provided by River City Bistro and cocktails will all be available for our guests during the evening with ambience reflecting that of the 18th century. While here, George and Thomas will be visiting some students at our schools and meeting the future of Fort Smith. Proceeds from this event will go to the Fort Smith Public School Foundation for grant purposes to assist teachers with National History Day, a program that the U.S. Marshals Museum has had the chance to bring back into our public school system. Thank you for your ongoing passion for the U.S. Marshals Museum and your commitment to the U.S. Marshals Service, our nation and Fort Smith, AR.
