Event description

Description

Cait Flanders is a long-time blogger and author of a new memoir, The Year of Less. The book documents the first year of a two-year shopping ban she completed in 2016, and dives deep into why she had always turned to shopping, alcohol, and food—and what it had cost her.

The Year of Less has been listed by Vogue as one of the 7 nonfiction books to change your life in 2018, and by CBC as one work of Canadian nonfiction to read in the first half of 2018.

This spring, Cait will be travelling across Canada to share her story, as well as talk about how you can change your own relationship with shopping + become a mindful consumer. Your ticket includes a 45-minute talk + a Q&A session where you can find out how to make similar changes in your own life.

Note that doors will open at 6:30pm, if you want to come early and purchase any refreshments! They have a full espresso bar, tea, and some delicious treats. :)
