Event Information
Event description
Description
Join the Workers' Project for an intimate evening and fundraiser as author Tom Frank, best known for What's the Matter with Kansas, talks about his newest book, Listen Liberal. If you would like to learn more about this book or Mr. Frank's other work, please visit Thomas Frank website.
The $15 cost of the ticket includes heavy appetizers along with gluten free and vegetarian options. A cash bar will be available. Note: Space is limited, so purchase your ticket before March 25.
This is also a fundraiser and your chance to support the efforts of the Workers’ Project, Inc. on behalf of working people throughout Northeast Indiana. All ticket purchases and donations are greatly appreciated and 100% tax deductible. We work to create opportunities for the voice and power of working people through education, training and research programs. We need your involvement, ideas and monetary donations to continue this timely work!
You will have a chance to ask questions and engage in one-on-one conversation with Mr. Frank and other event attendees. Copies of Listen Liberal will be available for purchase and signing by the author. We will be holding a drawing with opportunities to obtain selected books, the work of local artists and chances to attend area events and attractions.
