Meet Alison Poste
Following the incredible success of the 2017 Women’s March, Alison Poste has become active in the political sphere, including a City Council run where she placed 3rd out of 12 candidates in Ward 4. Alison is also an active member and President of the Alberta Party Constituency Association in Edmonton-Manning, and is a Board Member on the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues.
Professionally, Alison has received numerous awards for her work in emergency management and ongoing disaster recovery efforts, including during the 2013 Southern Alberta Floods and the 2016 Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray) Wildfires. Personally, Alison maintains an abiding passion for social justice issues and the written word.
