New York native/Charleston, SC resident Trané N'Chel is a singer, songwriter, theatrical performer, and teacher. Guided by powerful life lessons and rooted in soulful traditions, she borrows various elements of R&B, jazz, neosoul, and gospel influences to create a titillating hybrid style that she dubbed NeoJazzRb. Her past theatrical performances for the Spoleto Festival, Moja Arts Festival and vocal performances for the North Charleston Arts Fest and countless engagements at various venues in the Holy City are worth mentioning. Trané N'Chel's captivating, high-energy performances transport audiences back in time as she and the band blend musicianship, creativity and nostalgia.
