Event description

Description

At KAMA DC, we believe that immigrants make our communities stronger. Sharing their stories helps foster a more inclusive and connected community, while working to create lasting relationships. Please join us, in collaboration with Lapis, for an evening of storytelling with immigrants from our community sharing their experiences of coming to the United States. Lapis will have small plates, such as sambosa (a crispy filo pastry filled with spinach or beef), bolani (Afghan flatbread), and falafel, available for purchase. Storytelling will begin at 7:00pm, and will take place in the downstairs lounge of Lapis, in Adams Morgan on April 25th. Tickets are free, but spaces are limited so we ask you to reserve one in advance by registering here.
