San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
With tremendous gratitude and appreciation for everything that Rabbi and Mrs. Lipner have done for the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish community over the last fifty years, Lisa Kampner Hebrew Academy alumni, teachers, family, friends and supporters are coming together to express their gratitude and to wave a final goodbye to the Lipners as they part on their journey to the Holy Land.
6:45 PM - Maariv
7:00 PM - Cocktail Reception (with wine and appetizers), alumni schmoozing, DJ
7:30 PM - Dinner (gourmet fusion buffet, presentation, speakers)
The Lisa Kampner Hebrew Academy first opened in San Francisco as the Hebrew Academy of San Francisco in 1969. The Lipners' painstaking work for years to build the first-ever orthodox school for Jewish boys and girls had never been easy and, after an amazing journey, they are leaving San Francisco for Israel. With them, they take only the pride, joy, and nachas that they acquired from educating, influencing, and inspiring the thousands of Jewish kids and their parents.
Let us all come together one final time to wish Rabbi and Rebetzin Lipner a farewell on their journey to Israel. Whether you were impacted directly by the Lipners or know of someone who has, you are cordially invited to celebrate their incredible work. Your presence will speak numbers!
