Event description

Description

Cornerstone Consulting, in association with Troy by Gas-Light will present an evening of Capital District "alternative histories" on Troy Night Out January 26, 2018 from 6:00-9:00pm at the Troy Innovation Garage, 24 Fourth Street Troy, New York 12180.

This event is free and open to the public.

Street parking and parking at the Uncle Sam Garage (enter on River Street, across from Uncle Sam bus stop) are free after 5PM.

Much has been written and discussed about the building and highway projects that have been built in the Capital District throughout its four century history, and the impacts, both positive and negative, of such projects on the communities in which they are located. But, what about the multitude of projects that never made it past the drawing board, or those that were begun but never completed? Those unbuilt and incomplete projects and how they might have changed the look and feel of the region will be examined in a series of presentations at the Troy Innovation Garage, 24 Fourth Street Troy, New York 12180.

Drinks and finger foods will be provided courtesy of our host, the Troy Innovation Garage. A $500 cash prize will be awarded to the presentation voted “best of the evening.” Gift bags with products from local businesses will be presented to all speakers.

The lineup for ”Left on the Drawing Board, A Night of Alternate History at the Troy Innovation Garage.” Hope to see you on January 26th for this interesting and fun event!
