The Acorn Project will be screening the Afghan Chapter of Girl Rising, an award winning documentary followed by an engaging conversation between three Afghan Women about their own intersecting, inspiring stories of defying the odds through education. Enjoy this impactful evening with us while savoring the flavors and music of the Middle East performed by members of the UCSB Middle East Ensemble.
