The night opens with master percussionist Cornell Coley invoking Elegua, the orisha of beginnings and crossroads, through a mesmerizing conga drum performance. His rhythms set the spiritual and cultural tone — a heartbeat connecting Cuba to Africa and beyond.

Boston’s renowned collective MetaMovements takes the stage with a vibrant showcase of traditional Cuban dance forms — Orisha, Rumba, and Palo. Experience the blend of sacred movement, rhythm, and storytelling that reflects Cuba’s Afro-diasporic roots.
