An Evening for Tibet
Thu, April 27, 2017, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT
Hosted by Diana Rose, Elsie Walker and Robyn Brentano
You are cordially invited to an Evening for Tibet to hear the story of Tamdin Wangdu, the founder and Executive Director of the Tibetan Village Project (TVP) and to learn about TVP’s humanitarian work on the Tibetan Plateau. The evening’s co-hosts are prominent Tibet supporters. Elsie and Robyn will share their experiences of working with Tibetan communities and involvement with TVP.
Tibetan Village Project (TVP) is a nonprofit, non-political organization dedicated to creating sustainable livelihoods for Tibetans through social entrepreneurship and educational opportunities. TVP was founded in 2001 by Tamdin Wangdu to build a medical clinic in his home village after he lost his father. Since then, TVP has expanded its programs to other villages across the Tibetan Plateau. www.TibetanVillageProject.org
